Surf Excel has successfully managed to integrate it’s theme “Daag Ache Hai” with a social message of including the less fortunate in the celebration of light and joy!
This Ad Campiagn was Conceptualized by Arun Iyer, chief creative officer, Lowe Lintas and his team. The ad film has been directed by Vasan Bala under the banner of Absolute Productions.
“The thought behind the campaign was to express how children can live and enjoy their childhood through stains. In this particular instance, if you were to see the world from the child’s point of view, which is rather innocent, when he (the child) notices that somebody around him is unable to celebrate Diwali due to certain reasons, he decides to put ‘rangoli’ himself. So, in a way, this is a very child-like interpretation of the world.” says Iyer.
We are sure the ad will strike an emotional chord with the Indian audience during this festive season of Diwali and will help bring light and joy to the homes and lives of the less fortunate by sharing a little of ours – after all, isn’t that’s what festivals are all about!
